Keith English – Gulf Breeze, Pensacola

Keith English a longtime resident of the Gulf Breeze and Pensacola communities began his career outside the Pensacola area by playing a few years of minor league baseball for the Cardinals organization during the late 90’s.  When a shoulder injury ended Keith’s baseball career he started his own company marketing telecommunications products to local businesses in the Pensacola and Gulf Breeze areas.

Keith later had an opportunity to work with a well-established email marketing firm and before long the owner of that company had decided that Keith English would be the right one to either take over the existing company or branch out and allow Keith to run the subsidiary.  Keith soon founded a new company called 19 Communications which specialized in online lead generation for financial service companies.  Keith English used his Southern charm and marketing skills to acquire access to massive databases of opt-in email address that he would leverage to generate new leads for the financial services industry while at the same time increasing revenue for the original database owners.  This “Win-Win” business model helped the company grow to become one of the largest and most efficient companies of its kind.
Along the way, English changed the name from 19 Communications to LeadRev and was later acquired by London Bay Capital and merged with Selling Source.
Even though Keith English was still involved with LeadRev in a consultancy capacity, Keith began to aggressively pursue his hobby of bill fishing aboard his sport fishing boat the Click Through.  Keith spent the next few years traveling throughout the Atlantic Coast, Florida, The Caribbean, Central and South America and Mexico in pursuit of marlin and other bill fish species.
Along the way the name Keith English became synonymous with success in marlin and billfish tournaments throughout the marlin fishing community.  Keith also became very active in the conservation of bill fish and was named to the board of the billfish foundation which takes the lead in tagging and tracking billfish in an effort to learn more about the pelagic species and put measures in place to protect the sport fish for future generations.
The Keith English entrepreneur bug crept back in and Keith is now the founder and CEO of a new venture, LocalMed which creates a seamless directory and appointment management system for dental and medical offices.  A potential patient can now locate the nearest medical office that serves their particular needs, read reviews on the physicians and staff and then set their appointment without ever speaking to any office staff.

The LocalMed system then sends out reminders to both the patient and office staff to insure both parties are properly prepared for the appointment.  Should the patient need to change or cancel the appointment, they can do that from any smart phone or internet device and the system will then offer the vacant appointment to any other patients who have indicated that they were interested in an earlier appointment and all this is communicated and confirmed through the use of text messaging and email.
